Fused Biconical Taper Process

Fully Automatic Manufacturing and Test Stations
Gould manufactures high quality fiber optic couplers and splitters using highly sophisticated software controlled automated stations. Depends upon the customer specifications products are tested for various optical parameters like Insertion Loss, Coupling ratio, Polarization dependent loss (PDL), extinction ratio and Thermal stability using highly accurate software controlled testing systems. These testing systems are regularly calibrated to ensure accuracy and dependability.

Damp-Heat, Dry-Heat, Vibration & Optical Testing Facilities
Gould also has the extended capability to test our products to ensure the field reliability using software controlled environmental testing systems for damp heat testing & dry heat testing at our Millersville, Maryland facility. Please click here fore more information.

Prototype Group
Gould specializes in customized components and subsystems. Our fiber optic prototype group provides variations on standard products, including custom wavelengths as well as developing unique products. Such devices, which are difficult to fabricate using standard production techniques but fall short of formal engineering or product development requirements, are their specialties. Ion-Exchange Based Planar Lightwave Circuits
